A big shout out goes to Shalini Arye of Lini’s Book Reviews today!  I met Shalini online where she was offering to review books for interested authors.  She is an avid reader who reads all different types of genres and shares her reading experiences on her blog.  And she is a very professional reviewer.  So if you need a review, just visit her review page where she lists her review policy and her contact information:

If you need someone to review your book, please just drop me a line and I’ll be more than happy to read it.

I promise to read your work all the way through and will give an honest opinion. I love the written word and have come across few books that I don’t like – so you’re almost guaranteed a positive review! However, if I don’t like it, I will say so but I will still be respectful – I know you’ve put a lot of hard work into creating your masterpiece.

Once written, I also ‘advertise’ it on Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and Book Blogs – so someone will read what I thought of your book. I never remove my reviews – all you have to do is to look at my older postings and you’ll find your review there.

The genres I’m particularly interested in are:

Biography, Chick-Lit, Christian, Classics, Contemporary, Cookbooks, Crime, Fiction, Horror, Mystery, Non-Fiction, Romance, Suspense, Spirituality, Thriller and Young Adult.

But never say never – send me an email if your book doesn’t quite fit in these categories and I’ll let you know if I can critique your book.

I review books for four publishing companies so I may not get to your book straight away; however, I’m a pretty fast reader so if you have a tight deadline, let me know in your email and I will endeavor to meet it well ahead of time.

Thank you and I look forward to reading your book…

So, what did she have to say about The Raie’Chaelia?  Here is a snippet from her review:

This is a very good story. The author’s description of a far away land filled with lovable creatures and villainous rouges is excellent and the names of people and places will definitely make you re-read them! Chalice is a great role-model for young adults – strong beliefs in family, friends and loyalty. The writing is so vivid and very creative that the reader will get lost easily in this far away world.

Thank you, Shalini!  I will definitely pass on your blog information to other authors that I know!

Happy Reading!

~ Melissa
